Great colors to start the first challenge for February. They spoke to me and said watercolor and valentines. The design team has come up with some pretty awesome creations, click HERE to check them out. Hope you play along, would love to see what you all come up with.
I love to watercolor. It never turns out the same. Sometimes I end up with a muddled mess, but as I get better I get some great combinations. In all the colors that were listed in the challenge the only refill I did not have was Pretty In Pink. Couldn’t believe it! So I used Pretty in Pink cardstock as the large heart. I used the Online Exclusive Hearts of Elegance Bundle, ink refills, and our watercolor brushes. The large heart was cut out of the top of the watercolor paper as those were the darker colors, then the smaller hearts from the bottom where the ink colors were more muted. It was hard to cut up the piece because I loved the way the whole sheet looked.
