Christmas Card Using Color Dare Color Challenge 680

Red and Green are traditional Christmas Colors. I wanted to keep the card simple using them. I think I accomplished that. To check out the other Design Team Members creations and to play along CLICK HERE. We would love to have you play along, besides it will help you get your Christmas Cards done.

The Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing folder is just about 6×6. I decided to go with a 6×6 card. I embossed the card on basic white and using a dauber with Mossy Meadow ink sponged the color on the wreath. Then using Nuvo Drops in Red I created the berries. Then I cut the wreath down to 5.75 x 5.75. Tied the bow using the Sparkling Sequins Ribbon (which is just gorgeous) and adhered it with glue dots. Stamped the sentiment in Versamark then immediately onto the Real Red ink pad and used the WOW Clear embossing powder to emboss. The sentiment is from the Traditional Labels Stamp Set and I used the largest die to stamp it out. Adhered it to the center of the wreath with Dimensionals. I really like how this turned out.
