It is finally fall. The air is getting crisp in the mornings, the temperatures are getting cooler and here in Albuquerque the balloons are starting to appear. This weekend starts the International Balloon Fiesta. This is a major event with 500+ balloons attending and mass ascending from Balloon Park.
It’s also a fun time to create cards using colors I don’t typically use and they lend themselves to all types of blending and techniques. The techniques I used on this card is blending with the blending brushes and then splattering water with the water painter and then splattering with a dark ink to create the dark spots. I did this two pieces of cardstock, one with the browns and warm colors and then on another with the greens. Then I die cut.
