SUOC 354 – Bring On The Heat

This month’s opportunity is to Bring On The Heat in which I interpreted it to mean embossing. Heat embossing is an all time favorite of most stampers. It’s like magic. You sprinkle on the powder, heat it and magic happens. Hard to tell with this picture but the White Ice Cream is embossed with the new WOW white embossing powder several times. I did this by stamping the Versamark Pad directly onto white cardstock and then spreading the WOW white embossing powder and heating it, then immediately spreading it again and heating it and doing it one last time. Then I cut it out using the ice cream swirl die that is included in the Ice Cream Swirl Bundle. I blended Melon Mambo and Poppy Parade using our blending brushes on white cardstock and them cut out the ice cream swirl again and pieced it together. The background piece is made using a new technique called glycerin blending of which I used Cajun Craze and Daffodil Stampin’ Ink Pads, blending brushes and glycerin. Comment below if you would like for me to show you how to use this technique.
