The colors that jumped out at me, besides the Black background, where some form of an orange (so I chose Peach Pie); some darker form of orange (I chose Cajun Craze), Melon Mambo of course; Smokey Slate and Gray Granite. Now the trick was to combine all those colors. As I search through my sets Autumn Trees said “Pick Me!” I didn’t want to do a totally black background so I chose Botanical Textures DSP. The sheet I chose had the Basic Black, hints of Gray Granite and a little Smokey Slate. It was the perfect background for the tree. I stamped the tree in Peach Pie and then used the Early Espresso Marker (which these are being discontinued) to color right on the stamp on top of the Peach Pie. I stamped it on Basic White cardstock and then used the coordinating dies to cut the tree out. Using a blender brush I brushed Peach Pie on top of the whole tree and especially along the edges. I cut the leaves piece using one of the dies out of Cajun Craze and layered it on top of the tree. I stamped the sentiment in Melon Mambo on Smokey Slate and die cut the label out. Just backed it with a piece of Melon Mambo for a little POP! The Nature Matte Dies have come in handy lately……I colored the white ones using the Light Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends. The cardstock base is Smokey Slate. To see the other design team members creations and play along click HERE to go to the SUOC Blog.
The Autumn Trees Bundle and Amber Autumn Bundle are not available until September 3rd.

This is awesome using the layering die-cuts and how you used lighter shades from the challenge.
