Something different. Some of these sketches are more challenging than the other and that is a good thing since it takes you out of your box. Sometimes we get a little comfortable and do the same colors, same techniques, etc. This one was quite simple but I wanted to do it different. Click HERE to see what the other designers have done.
Stampin’ Up! has this new product, Metallic Texture Rub-Ons and I wanted to give them a try. Instead of using a piece of designer series paper I wanted to make my own. I used the wood grain textures, it took two of them, but I really liked the effect. They are super cool. I did find that using the bone folder worked better than my fingers for burnishing, but the effect is a WOW! The technique was tearing which I hadn’t done in a while. Super simple card. Have fun with this one!
